Both counties have rich music heritages and unique places.  Singer songwriter Carl Perkins lived in Jackson. He was one of the founders of the Exchange Club Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse. Plus, Brownsville is the home of Rock and Roll Queen Tina Turner’s Museum.
